“The guide was on time to pick me up and my hotel was a tad out of the city and they were kind enough to accomodate me. The drive was comfortable and the zoo itself is nice. Though, you should be prepared to spend time at the exhibits since the animals hide. The bears were all hibernating (here in early Jan) so I saw none which was a downer. The whole tour was well organised and the drive up and down takes a little over an hour one way.”

This was not really a tour, as the booking just included transportation --- but that was helpful, and in fact our driver gave us a lot of interesting information en route and back. “Had high expectations after seeing reviews and hearing recommendation It is a nice zoo. But it is a zoo. Animals are kept in cages with very little place to move around. It’s not a wildlife park. No animals are roaming free. The private tour was not worth it You can easily find your own way and enough signing tells you about different spiecies . It is a good zoo. And amazing nature around just expect a zoo not wildlife park”
